this is my first blog post and its only 5 days until christmas, so i am theming the page to be centered around christmas!! good tidings to you and yours!
i have plans to go see the sonic movie tomorrow and i'm so excited. i hear that they kinda scaled back the random third party character exposition and focus more on robotnik in this one which..is okay, but i just hope the shadow parts have done their justice to the games well enough. i know i can't expect that much though because it is a movie franchise for like 10 year olds lol. but i love shadow soooo much and am honestly over the moon that he's gotten so much cool shit this year. i still need to play shadow gens lmao..
christmas is really soon and i'm lowk nervous but also just trying to hang in there. i'm just glad i'm still around this christmas ngl. this year has been a really hard one between family events and mental health morale being low, but i'm glad i stuck around to be able to spend another christmas with my loved ones. i do hope my family and partners and friends enjoy the few gifts i was able to get them, also. i have been feeling really inadequate in terms of how much i can (or can't) provide for others on a daily basis due to my mental health, and it's been frustratingly difficult to handle. so naturally that extends to the holidays too. but my partners and friends have been helping me come out of my shell more and i've been feeling more daring / less afraid to be open about stuff.. baby steps, i guess. we take those.
on an unrelated note to my emotional state, it's been so much fun making this site and learning new stuff abt HTML/CSS. i have really been enjoying coding and it's almost therapeutic looking at my site and seeing my hard work paying off on visuals alone. not much content on the site yet, but i want to make it a passion project that i can try and work on long-term. we'll see though, depending on how long my interest lasts. as always i'm worried it's a hyperfixation, but only time will tell if this sticks. for now, i'm just happy to spend the time keeping myself busy.
anyway i do not have much else to say for this first entry. i might make another one later today going more in-depth on various site ideas i have, and the kinds of pages i'd like to have on the site, but for now i'm just going to chill and probably eat lunch lol.
make sure you take a break today also, and eat something! drink water, even.
